A cantora cresceu fazendo parte de um grupo de teatro musical chamado "Kids On Stage" e mais tarde, se tornou diretora, resolveu seguir sua vida no ramo musical pouco depois. No final de 2008, ela abriu as turnês de Jason Mraz na Europa, passando por países como o Reino Unido, Suécia, Dinamarca, Holanda, Alemanha e França, entre outros. She grew up doing a musical theater group called "Kids On Stage." Later in life, she became a director until she decided to pursue her career in music. Toward the end of 2008, she opened for Jason Mraz on his Europe tour, touring in the UK, Sweden, Denmark, the Netherlands, Germany and France among others. In the second half of 2009, Ingrid began her "Everybody" tour of the United States and Europe which continued in 2010.

port> A banda Ultraviolet Sound teve inicio final de 2007, no Hudson’s Club, O grupo também conhecido como UVS lançou seu primeiro disco chamado OCD (Obsessive Compulsive Dancing) em Abril de 2008 de forma independente. Neste mesmo ano, a banda teve destaque por está em turnê com grandes artistas, como Lady Gaga, Robyn, Dragonette, Katy Perry e também por serem destaques no blog do Perez Hilton. Em Março 2009, a UVS levou sua música ao mundo, com a turnê internacional que passou pela America do Norte e Reino Unido.
