Ela chegou a fama através do MySpace, quando colocou online uma música chamada "Short Dick Cuizi", segundo afirma Cuizinier, um membro parisiense do grupo de hip hop TTC. Com o produtor e grande amigo GrandMarnier, Yelle gravou um álbum com o título "Pop-up", e depois seu single "Je Veux Te Voir" (uma versão finalizada de "Short Dick Cuizi"). Ela também foi caracterizada pela música "Parle à ma main" juntamente com Fatal Bazooka, em 2007. Em Outubro de 2007, abriu o show para Mika durante sua turnê pela Europa. Em Fevereiro de 2008 apresentou a faixa "A cause des Garçons" no Terceiro show BBC "Lily Allen and Friends". Foi a sua primeira aparição na televisão britânica. Quando atingiu a idade adulta, Mia partiu para Munich, onde estudou musica e dança, numa Academia da Musica. Em 2005 esteve em turnê com o cantor Ronan Keating, e lutou por uma vaga no "Eurovision Song Contest 2005", com a canção "Alive".

A banda só alcançou o sucesso comercial e o reconhecimento nacional com o segundo single de seu segundo álbum, “Don’t Upset The Rhythm”, que alcançou o segundo lugar na UK Singles Chart na Primavera de 2009. A banda foi formada em 2003, quando o guitarrista Smith e a cantora Shoniwa, da banda Sonarfly, começaram a tocar e compôr juntos com mais frequência. port> VersaEmerge é uma banda de Port St.Lucie, Estados Unidos, que combina a sofisticação do som da guitarra com ritmos eletrônicos e de enorme turbulência. A banda foi criada por Anthony Martone & Blake Harnage quando ainda estavam na escola, e o nome da banda surgiu do termo "vice-versa" + "emergir". Em 2005 a banda estava oficialmente formada e pronta para trabalhar, tendo como vocalista Spencer Pearson, porem em 2006 ele decidiu sair da banda, e em seu lugar passou a ter um vocal feminino, a atual Sierra Kusterbeck.

english> VersaEmerge is a five-piece rock band originating from Port St. Lucie, Florida, USA, currently signed to the label Fueled By Ramen. VersaEmerge came together after their previous band, My Fair Verona, broke up. VersaEmerge formed whilst Blake Harnage and Anthony Martone were in high school, choosing the name "VersaEmerge" as a portmanteau of the term "versa" from the phrase "vice-versa", and of the term "emerge", meaning to rise from an obscure or inferior position or condition. The band set out to work with their sound, eventually producing the Cities Built On Sand EP in 2005, featuring Spencer Pearson on vocals, Josh Center on Lead Guitar and Nick O. (Osborne) on bass. With the departure of Spencer, their male vocalist, Sierra Kusterbeck auditioned for new vocalist , while the other members of the band were not sure at first, Harnage convinced them she was the right person for the job and eventually she joined the band in 2007.

Músicas como "Beautiful Disaster" e "So Close" ganharam notoriedade por fazerem parte da trilha-sonora dos filmes "Georgia's Rule" e "Enchanted", respectivamente. Seu segundo disco, "OK Now", foi lançado no dia 07 de Outubro de 2008. O primeiro single deste trabalho, é a canção "Beating My Heart".

english> Jon McLaughlin (born September 27, 1982) is a pop rock singer-songwriter and pianist from Anderson, Indiana. His debut album Indiana was released on May 1, 2007, preceded by his first EP Industry, also known as Jon McL, in February 2007. McLaughlin returned in 2008 with "Beating My Heart." The new single is part of his sophomore album entitled OK Now.

Jon McLaughlin grew up in Anderson, Indiana, playing piano since early childhood, though he disliked the lessons, and often sought to avoid them. While attending Highland High School, McLaughlin shattered both wrists in an accident that interrupted his musical expression. Rediscovering "his muse," McLaughlin attended Anderson University to study music.

McLaughlin released an independent album entitled, "Up Until Now" in 2003; In 2005 Jon McLaughlin recorded an 8-song EP, Songs I Wrote and Later Recorded, which reached the #1 spot on AwareStore.com; In 2006 McLaughlin signed with iconic record label Island Records. Since then, Jon has increased his presence at well-established musical venues and festivals such as Feeling Better Than Everfine (Cleveland, OH), Waterfest (Oshkosh, WI), Milwaukee Summerfest (Milwaukee, WI), Northwest State College Fest (Archbold, OH) and Lollapalooza (Chicago, IL). Velvet soon released her first single "Rock Down To (Electric Avenue)" which was a big hit in Sweden and internationally. The single, still frequently played in clubs across Sweden, reached number one in the Swedish Dance Charts for 22 weeks. Her follow up single "Don't Stop Movin'" was also popular and was followed by a tour.

port> Liderada pela vocalista Cassadee Pope, a banda de West Palm Beach - Florida (EUA) começou a dar seus primeiros passos em 2004, quando surgiu a Blake, contando com Cassadee e o guitarrista Mike Gentile, e, algum tempo depois, com o baterista Elliot James. Com o sucesso que seu single “Turn the Clock” fez no MySpace, a banda passou a abrir shows para bandas maiores, como Cartel e Fall Out Boy. Impressionado com a voz de Cassadee, o baixista da Fall Out Boy, Pete Wentz, convidou a Blake a se juntar ao selo de sua gravadora, a Decaydance. Nesse momento, Jersey Moriarty (baixista) e Alex Lipshaw (guitarrista) já haviam se juntado à banda. Com a nova formação e novas músicas, e como Blake já era um nome utilizado no meio musical, o nome da banda foi trocado e surge a Hey Monday em 2008. O primeiro CD, "Hold On Tight", foi lançado em Outubro de 2008, tendo como primeiro single a música "Homecoming", e vendendo mais de duas mil cópias na primeira semana. "Homecoming" também fez parte do mixtape "Welcome to the New Administration", do Fall Out Boy, além de uma participação de Cassadee em outra faixa, com a banda The Cab. Ainda em 2008, a banda participou da turnê "Why So Serious?" com bandas como The Academy Is... e We The Kings, e no fim do mesmo ano começa a turnê "Christma Hanu-Kwanza Tour", com a banda All Time Low.

Imogen tocou muitos instrumentos clássicos, incluindo piano (seu primeiro instrumento), violoncelo e clarineta. Mais tarde ela aprendeu como tocar guitarra e bateria sozinha. Ela começou a escrever músicas no seu aniversário de 11 anos. Sua mãe, uma terapeuta artística, e seu pai, um varejista de construção, se separaram quando ela tinha 12 anos. Ela foi mandada para uma escola destinada para quem quisesse aprender música. Heap não se deu bem com o professor de música. Sua idéia de punição era deixá-la sozinha para aprender sozinha, como consequência; ela aprendeu engenharia da música, amostragem e produção em computadores de Atari. In 2006, she was nominated for two Grammy Awards.

Heap's debut album, i Megaphone (an anagram of "Imogen Heap") was released in 1998 internationally via Almo Sounds, and garnered critical acclaim. The album was a mixture of self-penned and self-produced tracks, alongside tracks co-written with, and produced by established producers such as David Kahne, Dave Stewart and Guy Sigsworth. Heap's angst-filled songs were compared favourably to work by artists such as PJ Harvey, Kate Bush and Annie Lennox. Heap had kept in contact with Guy Sigsworth, who had co-written and produced "Getting Scared" from i Megaphone, and this led to the pair of them establishing the collaborative project Frou Frou. The initial idea was that Sigsworth would put together an album, featuring tracks written and produced by him alongside a singer, songwriter, poet or rapper, to be released under the name Frou Frou. Heap explains that Sigsworth invited her over to his studio, to write lyrics to a four-bar motif he had, with one condition – that she include the word "love" somewhere. The first line she came up with was "lung of love, leaves me breathless", and the Details album track, "Flicks" was born. A week later, Sigsworth phoned her up again, and together they wrote and recorded "Breathe In" and it happened again and again, until nearly half the album was completed. In December 2001, they made the decision to form a duo. In December 2003, Heap announced on her web site that she was going to write and produce her second solo album, using her site as a blog to update fans on progress, and even seeking them to be her A&R team for the lyrics to "Daylight Robbery" (which started out as a sample recorded for a television advert).

Só após o lançamento do 4º single, "Into Your System", que EliZe finalmente lançou seu primeiro cd, "In Control", em outubro de 2006. Após uma longa pausa, Elize volta em 2009 com seu 2º album, "More Than Meets The Eye", que contém hits como: "Lovesick", "Can't You Fell It" e um cover de Donna Summer, "Hot Stuff".

english> EliZe (artist name of Elise van der Horst, born July 22, 1982 in Utrecht) is a Dutch singer-songwriter. Growing up in Bussum, EliZe shared her mother's passion for singing. As an eight year old she was selected to sing in a children's television show, "Kinderen voor Kinderen" ("Children for Children"), in which she performed for six years. From this period she is best known for singing "Het tietenlied" ("the tits song"), about a girl getting into puberty.

In 2004, EliZe recorded an album in Denmark. The songs were written and produced by Peter Hartmann and Jan Langhoff, who also worked with Aqua. The first single, "Shake", was released in 2004 in the Netherlands. Though the song received the title "Dancesmash!" by Radio 538, the single was a modest hit by peaking at number 32 on the Dutch Top 40. "Automatic (I'm Talking to You)", the second single, was released in 2005 in the Netherlands and also earned the title "Dancesmash!" shortly after its release. The song became her signature song, peaking at number 7 there and becoming her best-selling single to date. It is also the first song that has ever charted outside the Netherlands, charting in Finland and Belgium amongst others in the top 20. Her third single, "I'm No Latino", was released in August 2005, and became a TMF Superclip shortly after its introduction. The song didn't perform as well as "Automatic" did, but still managed to peak at number 14 on the Dutch Top 40 and remaining in the chart for 6 weeks.

port> A banda foi fundada em 2001 pelo baixista e tecladista Jeremy Dawson e pelo vocalista e guitarrista Chad Petree. Ambos se conheciam a anos enquanto cresciam em Shawnee, Oklahoma e trabalharam juntos antes em outros projetos musicais como Cloud2Ground e Slyder. Depois desses projetos, eles ficaram pelo undergrounds por um periodo de tempo mas continuaram fazendo musicas juntos ate encontrarem a vocalista Ursula Vari. Em 2004, em Los Angeles, California, a banda se desfez de Vari e contratou Carah Faye Charnow como a nova cantora principal, e o baterista Mikey Martin.

Shiny Toy Guns ganhou popularidade na California e tambem atraves da pagina do MySpace. Em Janeiro de 2005, eles lancaram seu primeiro album We Are Pilots atraves da empresa Stormwest International. Eles começaram a fazer turnes pela America naquele verão. Eles regravaram e relançaram We Are Pilots pela empresa SideCho em Novembro de 2005, com a lista de musicas revisada. Eles continuaram em turnê, e em Junho de 2006 assinaram contrato com Universal Records e relançaram uma copia final do We Are Pilots em 17 de Outubro de 2006. Em agosto de 2008, foi revelado que Carah Faye Charnow não mais fazia parte da banda Shiny Toy Guns e ela tinha sido substituida por Sisely Treasure, que já canta no album Season of Poison.

english> The band was founded in 2001 by bassist and keyboardist Jeremy Dawson and vocalist and guitarist Chad Petree. Both had known each other for years growing up in Shawnee and worked together on previous music projects such as Cloud2Ground and Slyder. After these projects, they went underground for a brief time, but continued making music together until enlisting vocalist Ursula Vari. In 2004, in Los Angeles, the band parted with Vari and hired Carah Faye Charnow as their new lead singer, as well as drummer Mikey Martin. Shiny Toy Guns gained popularity in California as well as through their MySpace page. In January 2005, they released their first album We Are Pilots through record company Stormwest International. They began touring across America that summer in support of their album. We Are Pilots was re-recorded and re-released with a revised track list through record company SideCho in November 2005. Continuing to tour extensively, in June 2006 they signed with Universal Records and released a finalized copy of We Are Pilots on October 17, 2006. In August 2008, it was revealed that Carah Faye Charnow was no longer a member of Shiny Toy Guns and was replaced by Sisely Treasure, whose vocals are featured on the band's 2008 sophomore album, Season of Poison.

port> Nemesis Rising ( ou apenas Nemesis ) é um duo pop americano formado pelos gêmeos Jacob Miller & Joshua Miller. Em 2001 os meninos assinaram contrato com a 'Curb Records', em 2006 lançaram seu 1º single oficial Number One In Heaven, em 2007 gravaram o reality show: 'Jacob and Joshua:Nemesis Rising' pelo canal gay 'LOGO TV' e no mesmo ano lançaram o album "Rise Up" pelo iTunes.

english> Nemesis is an openly gay pop music duo consisting of the identical twin brothers Jacob and Joshua Miller. The pair can be differentiated by their hair colors; Jacob is blond, while Joshua's hair is brown. Joshua is also a few minutes older than Jacob. They were raised as Jehovah's Witnesses in Kalispell, Montana but have since left the religion. They were excommunicated after coming out. The journey of the duo can be seen on the Logo television network reality series entitled Jacob and Joshua: Nemesis Rising. The show premiered on October 16, 2006.

Nemesis has been signed with Curb Records since 2001. The duo released the EP Let Me Help You Out in 2005. Number One in Heaven, the first single from the album Rise Up, was released in September 2006 and was quickly followed by Rise Up in October to coincide with the premiere of the reality show. The music video for Number One in Heaven could be seen on the Click List Music program of Logo. It also aired on MTV Hits, which, like Logo, is owned by MTV Networks.
