The album moved away from the folk-rock genre of the Corrs and features a darker edgier dance-pop sound. Corr is involved in charitable activities. She has played charity concerts to raise money for the Pavarotti & Friends Liberian Children's Village, Freeman Hospital in Newcastle, the victims of the Omagh bombing in Northern Ireland and The Prince's Trust in 2004. She is an ambassador for the Nelson Mandela's "46664" campaign, raising awareness towards AIDS in Africa. During the Edinburgh Live 8 on 2 July 2005 the Corrs performed "When the Stars Go Blue" alongside Bono to promote the Make Poverty History campaign. She received an honorary MBE for her contribution to music and charity in 2005.

É composta pela vocalista Karen O, o guitarrista Nick Zinner e na bateria Brian Chase. Sua música é uma mistura de elementos retrô com guitarras ao estilo punk rock. A partir de 2006 passaram a contar com um segundo guitarrista, Imaad Wasif, para as turnês.

Com um som simples, alegre e dançante, eles vêm ganhando cada vez mais espaço no cenário musical alternativo. Lançaram um demo independente em 2005, To/From, e em 2006 o primeiro album oficial, Matt and Kim.

english> Matt and Kim are an indie pop duo residing in Brooklyn, New York. The group was formed in 2004 by Matt Johnson (vocals/keyboards) and Kim Schifino (drums/vocals). The two met while attending the Pratt Institute in Brooklyn. They started playing local warehouse shows in Brooklyn. Their simple, dance style rhythms and energetic performances have gained them a substantial local following, and a formidable online presence through social networking and media sites like YouTube and MySpace. The group released their first full-length, self-titled CD on record label and media group "Iheartcomix", in October, 2006. Matt & Kim played at the Siren Music Festival, a free music concert held in Brooklyn, on Coney Island, and at Chicago's Lollapalooza in 2007, and have appeared on MTV2 as program hosts. Their music video for "Yea, Yeah" has also been shown on the station, and the video for "5K" has been shown on MTV Europe, but was said to be too violent for the US.

Aos 16 anos Joe já tocava violão e escrevia suas primeiras cançoes, com isso, ele criou sua pagina no site myspace, e desde entao, vem colocando suas musicas lá, onde milhares de pessoas já escutaram, incluindo uma das mais famosas cançoes dele, Superman. Joe também possuiu um cd independente chamado "M AY B E T O M O R R O W ".

english> Joe Brooks, born May 18, 1987, is a British singer-songwriter, born and raised in Southampton, United Kingdom. Brooks is unsigned, but has received media coverage based on his topping the UK Myspace charts. After hearing Derrin Nauendorf perform at the The Brook in Southampton at age 16. Brooks went home and taught himself to play guitar and began posting songs on Myspace. He attened Mountbatten Secondary School and Barton Peveril College. After graduation Brooks attended the University of Bath to study Sport before dropping out to work on his music. It was during this time that he wrote and recorded his most played song, Superman. He also released a self publish CD titled "m a y b e t o m o r r o w."
